1979年　英国・ノッティンガム大学 University Research Fellow（1年間）
1986年　岡山大学工学部機械工学科教授
2004年　豪州・クィーンズランド工科大学 Visiting Fellowship Award（1ヶ月間）
2007年　岡山大学定年退官・名誉教授，広島国際大学工学部機械ロボティクス学科教授
2012年　広島国際大学定年退職
